Ok, really it's the fruits of his labor.  "His" meaning my husband, Sam.  We put in our very first garden this year, and it's doing really well.  I really can't take much credit for it.  Sam's the one who tilled the ground, planted it, weeded and picked the vegetables for the most part.  The kids and I just sort of took direction and did what he asked us to do.  I planted some and weeded some, but only under Sam's direct supervision.  I'm a plant killer.....yep that's right I have committed plant murder.  I have killed a cactus that's how horrible I am with plants.  I did not get the green thumb genes that my mom and grandma have.   I remember growing up and my Grandma having a big garden and I loved eating all the fresh veggies.  Sam always helped his dad with their garden every year, so it was time for him to have his own.  We've had a few things not work out, the carrots did not come up, and our tomatoes are not happening.  I'm a little bummed about that being I wanted to make fresh salsa, but we have plenty of other things growing.

Today Brennen and I went out to a new location that I absolutely love.  Brennen is graduating this year and wanted some updated images for her grad announcements.  I photographed Brennen last summer, her hairstyle has changed so much she wanted some new images to go with the new hairstyle.  We had to deal with some fierce wind and full sunlight but I think we got some great shots.  Here's a few of my favorites from today.
